As you may be aware I’ve been an active board member of Kingston Chamber of Commerce for several years and also that, for 2017/18, I am honoured to be its President.
My first role as President was to nominate a local charity that the chamber would support throughout my year ‘in office’. I chose Kingston Carers’ Network (KCN) because of the amazing support they give to unpaid carers across the Royal Borough of Kingston. There are several thousand of these ‘unsung heroes’ registered with KCN including over 500 who are under the age of 18.
Now that my time as President is nearing its end I’m delighted to announce that I will be hosting the chamber’s 3rd Annual President’s Ball, in aid of Kingston Carer’s Network, on Friday 23 March 2018 at the Holiday Inn, Kingston South. Please save the day!

Naturally I’m planning to try and raise as much money for the charity as possible, on the night, which will include a charity auction for which I’m hoping for some donations of auction lots.
