Beware of scam emails from iTunes

Dec 16, 2022 | Blogs

One of our team has received emails purporting to be from Apple regarding purchases made from the iTunes Store sending you a purchase receipt.

These are fraudulent emails. If you were to click on the link in the email you will then be asked to enter your Apple ID and password – DO NOT DO THIS!

If you are unsure, you can contact Apple customer services. Then, after going through security with them, you will be taken to an area of their website where you can review all your recent purchases. These fraudulent purchases will not be showing on the list. The scammers are just ‘phishing’ for your log in details, so BEWARE.

Apple have also provided the links below which will help you to decide if an email is genuine or not.
